Participants

Invited Public History Institutions

Representatives from organizations are selected annually to explore and develop public interpretive programs. Each will be invited to send a team or individuals to the summer workshop including the project’s programmatic and interpretive director, a staff assistant, and a representative of the institution’s leadership or development staff. Participants will receive funding for travel, lodging, and meals during the workshop.

Selected Graduate Students and NMAAHC Staff

Graduate students and NMAAHC staff participate in the workshop, working with public historians and institutions during and after the summer seminar to help implement the history and strategies developed during the week in July.
