This week the Race and Slavery in the Atlantic World (RSAW) working group will focus on the work of Nicholas Wood, the Cassius M. Clay Postdoctoral Associate in Early American History here at Yale. Nic will be presenting “Black Emigration and Migration in the Late Eighteenth Century,” which is Chapter 4 of his book manuscript Before Garrison: Antislavery and Politics in the New Nation.
